Little people are often confused with midgets, but they are not the same thing. A little person is someone who has dwarfism and is 4’10” or shorter. They may also be called “dwarfs” or “little people.”
Many little people have no problem driving a car and use a regular seatbelt. But some do have trouble reaching the pedals or seeing over the steering wheel, so they might need special adaptations to their cars.
To help little people drive safely, many car manufacturers design cars that are easier for them to reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel. Some cars even include special foot controls that can help them shift gears without bending down too much. These features make it easier for little people to drive on their own without needing help from someone else in the car.
