If you are having trouble getting your system to connect to your network, here are some steps that may help:
Make sure you have the correct password for your wireless router. Some older routers do not allow special characters in passwords, and so if your password has a special character, it may be rejected by the system and not allow you to connect. If this is the case, then try using only lowercase letters and numbers in the password.
Make sure you have entered all the information correctly into the keypad of your system (such as SSID name, channel number etc). The keypad should have an LCD screen that displays any errors or messages about problems with connecting to your network. If there is no error message displayed on screen but still no connectivity then it is likely that there is an issue with your network settings rather than with your security system itself.
Try resetting both devices (the gateway and the panel) by unplugging them from their power supplies for at least 5 minutes before plugging them back in again. This will clear any memory issues which may cause problems when trying to connect to a new network.
