Do You Need To Buy Cables When Building A Pc?

Welcome to the world of PC building. It can be a rewarding and fun experience, but it also has its own set of obstacles to overcome along the way. One of these obstacles is cable management.

To get started, you need to know that there are different types of cables. There are power cables (ATX, EPS), video card cables, LED light strip cables and more. If you’re building a gaming PC, then you will need some of these types of cables for certain components.

For example, if you’re using an ATX motherboard in your build then you will need ATX power supply cables. If you’re using an ATX power supply then it will come with 4 pin Molex connectors which are used for fans and hard drives.

If you’re using an APU CPU or a low-end GPU like a Radeon HD 7700 or 7850 then there’s no need for any specialized video card cabling since those parts don’t need any additional power other than what your motherboard and PSU provide them with natively via their PCIe slots and SATA connections respectively.

But if you want to use a high-end graphics card like an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or Vega 56/64 then more specialized cables may be.
