Do Military Vehicles Have Keys ?

The answer is no. Military vehicles don’t have keys. The reason for this is that in a combat situation, the driver could be killed or injured and unable to start his vehicle. If a key were used, it would fall out and become lost; if it was a fob or keyless entry system that the driver carried around with him, it could be taken away by an enemy combatant.

Instead of relying on keys, military vehicles use mechanical locks that cannot be defeated without special equipment. In most cases, the vehicles have a locking bar or pin inserted into place which must be removed with a special tool before the door can be opened from inside or outside.

This means that even if you find yourself in possession of one of these vehicles (as well as the necessary tools), you will still need someone who knows how to operate the vehicle in order to drive it out of its current location.
