Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a great game, but it’s not for everyone. The first thing you should know is that Divinity is a very traditional RPG that focuses on turn-based combat and roleplaying. If you’re looking for an action-heavy hack-and-slash affair, this probably isn’t the game for you.

That said, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is one of the best RPGs I’ve played in years. It has an incredibly compelling story with plenty of twists and turns ahead of it, along with some of the most cleverly designed characters I’ve ever encountered in a video game. The combat system is also one of the best ever designed; it’s easy to pick up but difficult to master.

If you’re looking for an RPG that offers something different from your typical fantasy fare (and even if you’re not), then Divinity: Original Sin 2 should definitely be on your radar.
